The Respironics InnoSpire Essence nebulizer compressor is a compact home use nebulizer that provides dependable, fast and efficient nebulizer treatments in an economical package. Weighing only 3.3 pounds, this home nebulizer is easy to use and store, and features a sleek, attractive design. This nebulizer system comes with a handset to make it easier to carry from storage to the table. It also features a docking station that stabilizes the nebulizer cup to help you more easily pour in the medication. Also, this nebulizer uses a top-down tubing connector (versus a horizontal connector) that makes attaching the tubing easier for someone with arthritic or weak hands. And to make taking treatments easier, this nebulizer compressor’s power switch is located on top of the compressor. This nebulizer compressor is meant only for intermittent use (30 minutes on / 30 minutes off).
Included with this nebulizer system are 2 sidestream nebulizer sets: one disposable and the other reusable. Sidestream nebulizers are better than traditional nebulizer sets because they feature an active venturi system (see brochure link above for more detail) that provides air flow in addition to the air coming from the compressor. This results in a faster drug delivery, making your treatment times shorter.
